We Made It - Yey!

Kia Ora Everyone,
Yes, we made it and without any hassles either!

Trip on plane was long but not too bad!We got to eat breakfast, lunch and tea on the plane plus have a sleep, plus watch a movie looking at the TV screen in the headrest of the seat in front of me - for the children at Lumsden can you guess from the photo what movie I watched?

The plane ride was GREAT and Air Tahiti Nui was WONDERFUL - when we got on the plane they said Bon Jour - hey Lumsden can you remember what language that is?

Shane even picked up on the accent and started talking like the cabin crew - don't know what they thought about that, but believe me it was a little weird, especially since the accent wasn't the greatest! But hey, at least he tried!

LA airport - the part I was most worried about!!! Well, guess how long it took us to get through?

15mins - truely, only that long! Wasn't even a hassle, just took our finger prints, asked why we were staying and where then took our photo (for police records or something like that). Will be interesting to see if it is the same when we leave. Have talked to others while we have been here and they have had nightmare situations at LAX. So far so good for us - will keep you posted.

And just in case you are wondering, yes, Shane has adopted a kind of American accent now too!!

The Sheraton Park Hotel we are staying in is BEAUTIFUL - thank-you Ester for recommending it! We have a lovely view and can see a little bit of Disneyland! We may not see a lot of it but we can hear the screams from people going on the rides. There are also alot of interesting vehicles parked outside - a Rolls Royce worth over $500,000 and a Ferrari that is on loan. The guest here is trying it out to see what sort of Ferrai he wants to buy! WOW, to be rich aye! (Thought James might like to see the photos of the cars).

Haven't finished, just move to the next post!
